So, i went for a big browse in every shop you can imagine on the weekend and the piece of clothing that keep catching my eye is leggings. You wouldn’t have thought they’d become popular as it was like a one off thing,if you get what I mean?ahaha but yeah instead of the plain black leggings, they have become a lot more artistic! There are many different styles that are on leggings in the shops and every shop stocks them.

When I saw the three leggings above I couldn’t resist. The ones on the left are from Primark and were only £6! such a bargain, dont you think? I like them as I can wear them with almost anything. But at the moment I enjoy just wearing them with other black or white clothing.I’m actually wearing them at the moment! I am wearing a black crop top which I got from American Apparel and my hair is in a bun and I’m wearing my dark red lipstick from Rimmel.

The green leggings in the middle are suede and they are from primark as well, they also have stitching going down the front of the legs which adds a bit of design to them but since the colour is so bold, you cant wear it with much but I enjoy wearing it with a sheer shirt that I got from Topshop a while ago.

Lastly, the leopard print leggings  on the right are from Topshop! they were £20, so a lot more expensive then the leggings in Primark but I do have to admit that there is a difference in material, such as it is a lot more stretchy and keeps its original shape. And I just absolutely love the pattern.

I have been website searching lately and I found a online shop that sells interesting leggings..The website is called Miracle Eye, the link is here and they specialise in mostly clothing, jewellery and accessories. The clothing is very retro, and follows my fashion sense. And as retro is ‘in’ at the moment, buying something from this website would be a good staple piece for your wardrobe. And it isnt expensive either! Here are some of my favourite leggings and other items from the shop:

leggings;

Orange Rainbow,£25                                  Zebra Zebra,£25

 White and Black and White and…,£25                        Stars and Stripes,£25

So at the moment I’ve been only really interested in buying accessories like bags and jewellery so those are the shops I’ve only really been looking at, although I have known of Fashionology for a while it’s only recently I’ve really started to get into it and really start lusting after all their pieces. If you don’t know,Fashionology is a jewelry  online shop with unique but gorgeous designs. And for every piece of jewellery they have put a meaning of the stone used and every piece is unique as no stone can be exactly. You can find the store here and below are my favourite pieces from the website…

I thought I might post an outfit today! but hey anyways.

The look above is basically based on rihanna. In Rihanna’s video ‘we found love’ she has her hair curled and pinned forward with a scarf, I have done a similar thing, but I’ve pinned it to the side and made a big qif. I then added a my high waisted jeans with my 80′s belt and my rihanna t-shirt I got from topman. I tucked in the top to show off my belt but it’s not really shown on the photo.  Then to make it even more like rihanna I wore my creepers with my navy blue sock. Then as you know from my previous post I like gold jewellery, so I decided to wear my gold tiger earings from topshop! Oh, I also added my tortoise shell glasses I got from a car boot a couple of months ago,so it make my look retro.

Glasses- Car boot, 50p

Tiger Earings- Topshop,£7

Leopard Print Scarf- Car boot, £1.50

Creepers Shoes-Beyond Retro,£30

Acid Wash High-waisted Jeans- H&M, £14.99

Belt- British Heart Foundation Charity Shop, £2.50

T-shirt- Topman,£20

Military Jacket- Car boot,£5

(It’s also on lookbook-I’ve just started it dont be mean)

At the minute I am really liking the idea of gold jewellery, although I have to admit I am turning slightly chavy-sorry. But that is the new style so hey ho!

There are many types of brands if you wish to follow the new trend, such as supreme,stussy,huf,nike and obey. They are all skate board brands, but you probably know nike as a sport brand. These brands all stock t-shirts,hats,jeans,caps,skateboards etc. Personally I like supreme t-shirts/caps,huf socks and nike shoes. And if you are interested in shoes like trainers, I suggest the brands nike,adidas and vans.

But yeah carrying on about jewellery…I found these watches on urban outfitters. They are casio watches,costing £30- £40. If your style is vintage or retro these watches will suit you too!

watch one;

Yes, i know this watch is silver but the face of the watch is gold which gives a nice contrast and if you cant decide which type of jewellery suits you-this watch is both! If you wish to buy it, you can get it here.

watch two;

This is one is for those who hate gold, but still like the idea of having a casio watch. And you can get it hereee

watch three;

.

The watch is so lovely! It’s my second favourite ahaha. The link for the watch is here

watch four;

This is the one I LOVE. You can just imagine wearing this with a fur coat,shorts and a shirt and you’ll look sooo stylish or. with a jumper,leggins and trainers. You can buy it here! And if you dont like the look of just having a watch, you can wear spike bracelets with the watch, like this

(if you are wondering where to get bracelets like these topshop sell them! The link for one is here)

okay, this is the reason why I made this post. Urban outfitters sell this watch,butbutbut because I’m fabulous I found one on ebay for a fraction of the price(and I like the one on ebay better, so shhh)

This watch is basically the same AND IT’S ONLY £8  INCLUDING POSTAGE OMG I KNOW. The link for it is here!

Hey guys! sorry i havent posted for a while, I’m going to make another one straight after this.

Okay so, I’m going to Peru! yay but it’s not a holiday boo:( it’s a expedition and i’m going with my school. It’s going to be okay, i guess, the only reason I’m going on the trip is that I get to help those in Peru. I can kinda give back to the world? if that makes any sense aha.

I wrote this letter thing so here it goes:

My name is Shaylee Lara Jones. I am a student that attends Shenley Brook End School. My school has decided to take part in a expedition as they encourage journeys and trips as a valuable element in the education of pupils. The expedition will take place in Peru in 2013. The company that has organized our expedition is Outlook expeditions. If you need any references from them please contact them via e-mail address or phone number. Their website is; http://www.outlookexpeditions.com/, their e-mail is  sean.banning@outlookexpeditions.com or info@outlookexpeditions.com and their phone number is 0845 9002989.
I will be going to Peru and travelling around the country. While I am there I will be exploring the culture Peru has to offer and participating in a project that will help those less fortunate than us. The main reason why we are going to Peru is that we want to be able to create a better environment for those who are unable to afford it. We want to actively help them.
However as the trip will be expensive, I will need to raise the money to be able to go. To raise the money I’m going give you or your company a chance to sponsor my face. The idea came from two men who are offering a companies the chance to buy their face and they will then paint the logo from the company on their face but then walk around very high populated cites. I will advertise the company’s logo on my face, and either wear a t-shirt with the logo on again or a product that you wish to promote. The details on what I will paint on my face or wear or where I will go in England is up to you or your company.
If there is any chance of you or your company sponsoring me, please get back to me as soon as you can and thank you for your time.
If you need any references please contact my school at 01908 520264 or enquiries@sbeschool.org.uk
Yours sincerely,
Shaylee Jones
Sounds okay right? well if any companies out there would like to do this please e-mail me!

Ok so although I have loved this shop for quite a while now I have never got round to doing a whole post on it so here we go. Whenever I go on lookbook  always go on the shops advertised as the majority of them look good. Well I recently found a shop called Nasty Gal and I think it’s fair to say I love it a lot! I didn’t realise that the majority of their tops are actually all around tumblr/lookbook and they were amazing.
